The Bag. The Ristretto, made at the Tom Bihn Factory in Seattle, started life as a netbook grade computer bag. It is a vertical messenger bag with a built-in padded compartment for your iPad. Empty, the bag measures 12” x 9.25 ... The Tom Bihn Ristretto is one of my favorite notebook bags because it allows me to carry something very small, without feeling like I have to make choices about what I carry. I’ve done that for you already. You’re welcome. Once again Tom Bihn has the answer. They recently began shipping a Ristretto bag that is size perfectly for the 11” MBA. The aptly named Ristretto for 11″ MacBook Air. It doesn’t look any bigger than the Ristretto for iPad that I have but that bag is just a teeny bit too small for the MBA.
